Martensitic Steel Castings And Forgings With Tensile Strength Of 1600MPa
1. Introduction to martensitic steel castings and forgings
Luokuang Co., Ltd. specializes in producing wear-resistant castings in grinding equipment and spindle tiles and tows of various grinding machines. Its strong casting, forging, heat treatment and machine adding capabilities, strict quality and process control methods, perfect testing and experimental means, so that its production and development of all kinds of wear-resistant products enjoy a high reputation in China, and exported to overseas.
The microstructure of MS-Martensitic Steel is almost Martensitic structure. It can be achieved by hot rolling or cold rolling. Martensitic steel has high tensile strength, and its maximum strength can reach 1600MPa. It needs to be tempered to improve its plasticity, so that it still has sufficient formability under such high strength. It is the highest strength grade of commercial high strength steel plate at present. Usually can only use rolling forming production or stamping shape simple parts, mainly used to form the requirements of the car door anti-collision bar and other parts to replace tubular parts, reduce manufacturing costs.
2. Martensite castings and forgings treatment process and use
Martensitic stainless steel, martensitic precipitation hardening stainless steel, martensitic heat resistant steel and maraging steel are different according to the composition, heat treatment process performance and application.
(1) Martensitic stainless steel with chromium content of 13% ~ 18%, used in quenching and tempering state, used for turbine blades (with low carbon), medical and surgical tools, measuring tools, springs, etc. (with high carbon).
(2) Martensite precipitation hardening stainless steel, chromium nickel content is higher than the former, after high temperature solution, quenching, and aging treatment at 400 ~ 500℃, in the martensite matrix precipitated a large number of the second phase and the matrix of the structure of the structure of chemical pressure vessels, aircraft, etc.
(3) Martensitic heat-resistant steel contains 7.5% ~ 20.5% chromium, 0.15% ~ 0.85% carbon and a variety of alloying elements. It is tempered at 650 ~ 700℃ to form fine carbides dispersed in the matrix. It is mainly used in valves, turbine blades, nozes and bolts of automobile engines.
(4) The maraging steel, containing 18% ~ 25% nickel, 5% molybdenum, 8% cobalt and a small amount of titanium and aluminum, is aged at 480℃ after solid solution and air cooling.
Because of the high cost, it is generally used in important structural parts of aviation, aerospace and ocean technology, such as rocket engine shells, aircraft landing gear, important molds, etc.
